Hydroseed Equipment Operator

Location: Northern Utah (Travel Required Company Vehicle Provided)

Grass Plus, Inc. is seeking a Hydroseed Equipment Operator to join our field team and help reclaim disturbed land across Utah and surrounding areas. Key Responsibilities:

• Operate hydroseeding equipment to apply seed, mulch, fertilizer, and stabilizers
• Perform site preparation and erosion control measures (straw blowing, matting, etc.)
• Load, mix, and apply hydroseeding slurry with precision and efficiency
• Inspect job sites to ensure quality, safety, and proper application techniques
• Maintain and troubleshoot equipment including hydroseeders, skid steers, and tractors
• Work independently in the field while communicating effectively with team and clients
• Travel to project sites throughout Northern Utah (some regional travel may be required)
• Record project data, material use, and daily logs accurately

Qualifications:

• 1+ year of experience operating hydroseeding or similar heavy equipment (skid steers, tractors, etc.)
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to perform routine maintenance
• Comfort working outdoors in varying conditions and terrain
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record (required)
• Strong work ethic, problem-solving skills, and ability to work with minimal supervision
• Bonus if you have: experience in landscaping, erosion control, agriculture, or environmental restoration

What We Offer:

$65,000 to $80,000 per year (based on experience) + overtime opportunities
